“Why I Ride for Merritt” by Chad Brooks
Why I Ride for Merritt.
This is my second year riding for “Team Merritt’s Way”. I’m riding to help honor the life of my cousin Merritt who lived an inspiring life even at such a young age. I also ride to show my support for my first cousin Richard Levitan, Merritt’s father.
I believe that some good must come out of this tragedy, and by riding I am doing my part in increasing awareness to the dangers of texting and driving.
And for cousins everywhere.
