GetLiving: Six Month Checkup

How will you #GetLiving from June to December?

2019 is half over, so it's time to check in with your resolution.

-Most years, our resolutions are long deleted by June. But, 2019 is different. So, let’s check up and check in! Are you still keeping up with the promise you made to yourself to #GetLiving this year? If not—no sweat. You’re not alone. June is a great time to reassess, recalibrate, and refocus. It’s not too late! Half of the year remains.

-A good way to do this is with the Screentime or Digital Wellbeing functions on your smartphone. Is your average daily phone usage where you’d like it to be? Is the app you’re using most often enhancing your life or detracting from it?

-Once you’ve checked your stats, it’s time to re-up those goals. Are you on track? Were you too ambitious back in January, or perhaps not ambitious enough? Put your updated goals for the 2nd half of this year somewhere where you can see them often--perhaps on a post-it on your bathroom mirror, or even as the wallpaper or lock screen background on your phone!

-If you wrote a letter to yourself back in January, open that letter. How does it feel to read what you wrote six months ago? How are you doing? How can you get back on track?

-We know, we know, rhetorical questions abound this month. But we challenge you to take these questions off the page and give voice to them. Have a heart-to-heart with yourself or a conversation with your partners in #GetLiving about thoughts and feelings.
