The first in a series of personal interviews, please read and share

Twenty-one Merritt's Way cyclist are busy clocking miles on the road this weekend, training for the upcoming Rodman Ride for Kids on Saturday, September 26. These committed riders take a break from training to share heartfelt reasons and personal stories about Merritt Levitan and why they choose to participate in this year's Rodman Ride.

I'm riding for Merritt's Way for love and remembrance. I am riding because I love the Levitan family. Merritt's death was transformational. She was an incredible spirit that I don't want to ever forget. I also don't want to ever forget how fragile life is and that it is therefore necessary to be present with those we love. I ride for TextLess Live More to educate and remind others that the reason Merritt is not physically present with us is because someone chose to not be present resulting in tragic consequences.
